One of the most beautiful stories I've ever experienced in a video game.

Great games, industry needs more interesting female protagonists like April and Zoe.

TLJ and Planescape Torment are the two best told stories in computer games ever. I haven't experienced anything as detailed and as long that doesn't overstay its welcome.

Wish I'd have caught this live. My favorite game of all time. Closely followed by the Monkey Island games and Super Metroid.

That was a really great stream, thanks again guys! And having Ragnar, himself, in chat was a big plus. :)

I liked Flipper Burns in TLJ, hehe.

What happened to the "pure" adventure genre? TLJ1 was great; Dreamfall was pretty good.

The book on the floor next to Wonkers is called "Prophet Without Honor", and is actually Ragnar's Anarchy Online novel/short story.

Need the detective's hat - should go back for that.

A lot of people who love TLJ also really like Outcast, another old gem, have you guys played it? Did you like it?

You should check it out then, you'll definitely like it! :)

I felt like I liked April a lot more when I first played it because I was her age. She represents late teen angst and conflict, not knowing who you really are, very well. Unfortunately I'm 37 now, so I just find her a whiny kid ;)

I like it how while cortez is doing is whole rethoric, the guy at the door is snoring in the background :P

Yes! The clamp, the ducky, the SUFFERING! The insanity and twisted logic!

In the Walking Dead and Fahrenheit, they put time limits on conversation to keep pacing up, how would you react to that in Dreamfall: Chapters?  I love the technique but the slow pace feels so important to TLJ.

they are mentioning comments I dont see here; where are they?

Ah the eternal and wonderful rubber ducky which leads to the worst puzzle ever. It and the Cat Hair Mustache puzzle from GK3 are the silliest nonsense in adventure gaming history!

I always spamclick this :)

One thing that would have greatly improved the game is having more than four voice actors. Seriously, that one guy does like EVERYONE. It's all great, but you hear Brian Westhouse as about 20 different people.

I read in an interview (a Norwegian one) that they will have a kickstarter for the game, but they've also got some funding from a trust that supports game development in Norway.

Great memories here. But the best part will always be that first part, wandering around Venice and the gorgeous, atmospheric Fringe Cafe, talking to all April's incredibly memorable friends. The early part just has this beautiful student-y campus sincerity to it. There's places in many games that we wish we could spend time, but I think venice would be my #1 place in gaming to visit in reality...

This is my favorite game, no doubt about it. It's all in the details, for example the background music in the Fringe Cafe, or the magic blue flames at the docks in Marcuria. There are however parts I wish were even more explored, like the lands around Marcuria, or out to the islands on the coast. What do you guys miss, or wish were more elaborate, expanded or "explained" somehow?

I agree about the underwater creatures, maybe Ragnar is watching this and will include them in Chapters? ;)

@Alvane the mearum were only really instrumental in the story of unifying themself with the alaisian, so April could meet their god. I mean they are not really as important like the venar I suppose.

It sure will be cool to have some pointers back to both games! But if you see how in dreamfall not even Cortez got much of a role. But at the end of the game You know why :) I like it how dreamfall was really coming from a total other angle but still is TLJ after all

@CosmicD True, but it would be really nice with a little nod in their direction at least! :)
