We sit down with Square Enix for a look at the zombie-fuelled madness of Sleeping Dog's Hong Kong horror inspired DLC, Nightmare in North Point.
Love the game always thought zombies would fit the game nicely i'm gonna buy this like everything else
I've watched all the old Hong Kong Ghost stories ( my fav being "A Chinese Ghost Story" ) and this fits RIGHT IN, LOVE IT :))
love spleeping dogs great combat and cars! Will pick this up,too bad the music is a little weak.
OK, that does actually look like a lot of fun. I loved the finishing move where he slapped a spell parchment on their faces and just dropped them. A nice touch. I hope they add some novelty vehicles or weapons like a homage to Ghost Rider's motorbike. Not very Chinese I know but you get the point.
I'm getting tired of watching him running and running. Give Wei a vehicle to run over these Hongkong zombies.
sweet can't wait to play this just got sleeping dogs wish they would add multiplayer though
this looks like cray good comedic fun. the zombies are like a fresh take from our usual brain eaters. spooky but funny, kinda like hopping bunnies. digging it.
sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
cant wait to kung fu zombies faces in. Loved the film Encounters Of The Spooky Kind
What the game really needs is more to do with the relationship or relationship"S"(you dirty dog), intimate or with friend, which then can perhaps change the ending, maybe instead of Wei getting himself free he is rescued by his friend or friends or lover or any mix of the mentioned. Also add a fking gun shop and put armor in the game, not some RIP OFF DLC'S. The game needs real content, instead its gotten like 6 rip off dlc's and a zombie dlc.. cause every game needs zombies... right?. A real zombie DLC would be having Wei struggle for survival... needing to go out and find food and drinks, rarely coming across ammo, very hard to the good guns, stuck in the city with no car to use or 1/1000 chance to find a car with fuel still(which would drain when used)... etc etc etc. So ya, how about some real content effecting relationships, perhaps campaign, and with great replay value. (Oh ya, multiplayer, especaily for the whole zombie thing).
@Master_Vexov WTF? Last time I checked we were playing/watching Sleeping Dogs, not Mass Effect nor Classic Resident Evil. It's modeled after Chinese HK "Action" flicks--not "survival", and certainty not "relationships".
Whatever kids, u obviously never played the game. Negative comments from deadbeat losers, who've accomplished nothing in their lives. Yes I'm talking about u
I actually lived in North Point for 16 years! Good times well not zombie fun thou.
I don't get with this game low sales and lack of attention,, I think people prefer sequel than new IP, To be honest, Sleeping Dogs is as good as Saints Row 3 or Mafia 2,, Hell, it's even better than Prototype 2 or Infamous 2,,
United Fronts sure is a bunch of very talented people. =)
Sleeping Dogs easily one of my favorite games because of distinct feels and authentic atmosphere of Hongkong,, (never going to Hongkong to be honest, but it's nice fresh breath than New York or L.A that had been seen on soo many games)
Not just the DLC, there was a large lack of everything else other then campaign. All the side stuff was really kind of just stuff you add in but shouldn't count for side-missions/replay.
GREAT GAME, but lacked so much... and all they have done is tossed in BS RIP OFF DLC's and a Zombie DLC(ZOMG, zombies again.... its really about the survival that ppl love). The game just really doesn't have replay value, you can't even enjoy creating chaos in the city, there is no gun shop or sneaking into some armory getting body armor and weapons... whats the point anyhow thoe cause they would just disapear for no reason from even some side missions.
wreak havoc on City sure was fun, add that with the ability to raise your territory with you triads NPC (AI) or co-op that would be hell a lot of a fun,,
I think the more shop should be included though (since the shop part actually pretty lacking on most sandbox games), side-story, business, dating relationship also should be exploited (whether that's on main game or DLC) they already done a unique things with car chasing, martial arts, environments kill, atmosphere, and involving storyline.
and weapons is not necessarily since the gameplay is all about hand to hand combat (and it was already explained on the main storyline that guns was rare on Hongkong),, and I agree,, the DLC + Zombies themed are sucks,,
