well you can tell these guys cant game for their lives they may be able to review games (barely) but they cant even remember to pick up the basic items off the floor pistol ammo vital health kits and the body armor they miss
this was painful to watch.
they are terrible
This video is an insult to duke nukem. the whole video is horribly put together, and there is nothing terrible about manhattan project.
Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown on PlayStation is a port of Duke Nukem 3D. It was completely uncensored and a faithful port of the PC version (unlike Duke Nukem 64). I've played A Time to Kill. I actually kind of liked it in the day, though the graphics were poor even then and some of the level design was pretty confusing. Land of the Babes looks very similar, but I've never played it. I have played one of the really old-school 2D Contra-style Duke Nukem games. It was nothing special.
I'm glad I watched this and now I'm going to wait tell Duke Nukem Forever gets a price drop before I buy it.
Case in point why Tom McShea fails = he likes Wolfenstein and Doom over Duke, and he does not do Duke 3D justice at all.
How can you play that original 1 on a console.. screw you!!! PC ownz your ass :D
You guys are right though, I was better at this game then this guy when i was twelve and it had just came out.
"SHUT UP RICK MORANIS" Hahaha, that was great
Im not gonna lie. IMO, it was torture watching him let Duke get his butt whooped :P THE D8)U8)K8)E NEVER GETS HIS BUTT WHOPPED
This was painful and annoying to watch - I mean it may have got better but 5 minutes was all I could handle. Its frustrating when people don't prepare and do their research - the concept was just lasy.
Duke says "Shake it Baby" 8) lol
I thought that of all people the gamespot staff would understand that game played differently in years past. Just saying that this game sucks is ridiculous. How about you suck at playing the game. For Manhattan project I could easily see the game getting a 7.9. Land of the babes controls looked acceptable control and graphic wise for its day.
SHUT UP RICK MORANIS
The guy on the left is so freaking annoying. I wish he'd shut up.
i found my old duke 3d disk awhile bak but it wont work in my new PC =(
So Tom isnt too good at DUke NUkem 3D then :p

This was my first game on PC :) brings memories. I didnt even have full version just demo which I played constantly hehe I'll never forget first level its stuck in my memory.
You think that's a real phone number? 1800-555-sign..... probably not. lol
omg rage at watching this guy play
It came out in 1996, not 1993, Tom! I was 23 then, and remembered playing Resident Evil on my brothers Playstation for the first time. I sure miss those days.
OMG i played this game in 1996 on my p75 pc and still remember where all the stuff is this guy is just really bad at the game they should have had someone who at at least knows how to play it.
This game was definitely not designed for consoles... it needs a mouse and keyboard.
It' just dawned on me, this isn't a new video, this is the same annoying one from the other day.
And these are the guys reviewing games? Oy.... Scores/Reviews should not be taken seriously on this site.
Damn, he sucks at playing. Also, why are they playing on the 360? Duke Nukem 3d should be played on Pc.
Dear Gamespot, You guys should do some research before discussing game history. You keep messing up a ton of stuff.
Damn man Duke Nukem is AWESOME I just wish it came out on PSN, all of them but Ill be fine with DN3D
Holy cow, how can you not remember how to play Duke?!
I also remember creating a level I mapped out of the first floor of my school
Shadow Warrior ... enuff said
Heart attack at 00:43.
Retro?No, it's not Retro, it's Old-School. 1972-1985:Retro. 1985-1998:Old-School. 1998-2011:Modern. Post 2011:Another dimension, Post-Modern i don't know...capisci?
No Duke Nukem Zero Hour for N64? That was the best 3rd person Duke game!
now would be the best time to note, that some years back I only had a very old computer for about 2 years which had nothing but Duke Nukem on it, I finished it about 10 or so times at least, and I retrospect I must say, these guys suck badly...on the other hand, I know the placement of enemies on the highest difficulty automatically, so I might be biased a bit :)
hahaha,,,remember me when i played sega and nintendo when child
Geezuz the guy opens the door then walks away from it an wonders where to go! This video is making me angry!
Jesus Christ, these guys suck.
Wow for someone who works on gamespot and plays games all day to review them, this guy kinda sucks! Come on the first level is pretty simple!
Ouch. Watching this made me cringe.Especially when doing these retro quips you NEED to have players that are familiar with the games. I'm all for people going back to great old games they never tried when they were brand new to see what they missed but this is *not* the place. You might have fun playing it but for long time fans it's just a pain to watch, especially when you go back to play an old school pc game on a console port, badly no less.
Man, they missed all kinds of S###!!! LOL
I've always been a fan of the original Duke Nukem 3D... never paid much attention to the mods and other versions of it.
