The game looks stunning. It looks much better than the first one, tracks are more open, less ramming by the AI. The cars look like they handle better than any other racing game they've ever made. I'm looking forward to this game.

3 Like It's sad - no cockpit view says that Codemasters have completely lost touch with their fanbase. 5% my arse. If I want a racing game with no cockpit and a more arcadey feel I play NFS or Midnight Club (although even MCLA had a cockpit view!). When I want some more realistic racing action that is still more accessible than a hardcore sim I turn to GRID or DIRT, which I always play in cockpit. Judging by the majority of comments on GRID 2 articles Codies are going to seriously regret this decision.

To hell with cockpit view, WHAT THE HELL HAVE THEY DONE TO THE DRIFTING?!! It looks HORRIFIC! This game will go down in the history of driving games as the worst racing game sequel EVER! Even above TDU2! That one I could at least bare playing. With those driving physics I don't think anyone will touch Grid 2.

3 Like No cockpit view = no buy from me. I played on hardest difficulty, no restarts, cockpit view... not anymore. I'm sad that I wont be purchasing.
2 Like only 5% use it, is another way of saying, we are lazy and don't want to do it. Either that or this is an arcade only game.

i was reading some comments here and i'm so confused why some people need cockpit view ! and seriously why you need that if you are a real racer. its just for fun. i can't wait for this game :)

1 Like I am not impressed at all. Also since there is no cockpit view, I know I will not be buying it. I was looking forward to grid 2. However, after hearing the details and now watching this video, I am very disappointed.
1 Like When Grid2 was first announced I was super excited! Now, the more I see the less interested I seem to get...
Problem I find with racing sims is basicly the vast amount of different cars. Once you master one cars attributes you then get in another car which drives totally different and that learning curve comes straight back. If your not a hardcore racing sim player then it can be a bitter experience and it's hard to take enjoyment from basicly being bad on a game. lol
Saying that I do still challenge myself on racing sims but will put my hands up and say I am not the best on them.
