i like this video so much...the bald dude kept making half-ass lame excuses why he didn't like the game and the stoner looking dude with glasses is giving him one line rebuttals "game is always yelling 3 go here 5 go there!..and it's like you don't really know what number you are" "you're 3....it says so on the bottom of the screen...you look at the bottom of the screen dude, that's how you know what number you are" "YYYEEeAaaaaaahh...." XD

Aaron and Ryan have some silly fun in this serious Military sim - ARMA 3!
Other than it looking better, how exactly is this any different than ARMA II? Oh wait, you can take your pants off....
it is easy to tell the difference between enemy and teammate IMO. unless they are running around in their underpants, but that is their fault if they are TK'ed then.
@M1A2Abrams1 I liked their comment about real war sim BF3, thay think that in real war there is red pointer on enemy snipers head 1.5 miles from you to see who to shoot..... pathetic reviw, 2 geeks who newer left gameboy talking about military simulator
they would run around shirtless and no pants and making fun of the squad leader giving orders also shooting at random critters.
This is The most boring review ever, I played arma 3 and it is totally different than those two guys showed, at list make ''review'' with people that like to play the genre of game, not dudes that play Mario and COD, MOH, BF3, this is totally different genre of games than pushing left mouse button with your optico-manual reflex
I like Arma, but I hate that the servers are being consumed by non-military sim modes.
Here's an idea: If you want people to take this game seriously, then have people demonstrate the game that will take it seriously.
@CAVSCOUT Totally agree.. This is what happens when when you play too much Call of Duty...
@CAVSCOUT Its games like Call of Duty that are ruining the military sim genre. Everybody wants to be trigger happy and shoot anything that moves.
@CAVSCOUT It happens sometimes, I guess when there's no one (or at least no one that's decent in videos) on staff that is interested in a game or a type of game, they basically just run through it and mostly make fun of it :). I understand you're complaint though, but it doesn't bother me as much.
You just have to accept that for coverage of a game like ArmA, you're not going to good in depth stuff here, or probably at most of the big gaming sites I would guess.
@CAVSCOUT Woah there pal... I'm not making anything personal or hiding behind a keyboard. They stated while they were playing that they were just having fun, and were not profesional ARMA players. Sheesh, lighten up a little bit. It's playing games on the Internet... it's supposed to be fun! :)
Nope never have. Military shooters are already a little to generic for my taste. I give them credit for trying to be the VERY realistic though. At least they aren't trying to cash in like the other major two military games.
"So realistic you're going to have to PMCS the humvees before each match. Coming soon!"
Played it's older brother Operation Flashpoint... Loved that game and if Arma would run on my laptop i'm sure i'd love that too.
You need to turn off the radio. You should be playing with people with mics not depending on that radio.
I'm thinking now, if arma III will be better optimized than arma II, it will be great to copy DayZ to arma III .
The first Ghost Recon on the PC was a bit like this - without the padding.
@FrontView If you want more action then I suggest you, use the mission editor & drop enemies every 20ft in the map or go back to playing the military action shooter. This game is not meant to be an action shooter, although you can make it into that if you really want too. That's the great thing about this game, you can do whatever you like in/to it.
This explains it better than I can: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=RcbQk5VXKNE
Well this game does a fantastic job of making you run about doing nothing :P
@kingkarl123 Just note that much of what you see in this video is not even official content, the official content is mostly just a few missions they are calling "showcases" that demo some of the new features, and of course all of this is still Alpha, official or not. Often the video refers to the term "mode", "Wasteland mode", "DayZ mode". I think that's not a good term to use here. These are not modes, they are mods, or in some cases you could maybe even just call it a mission and/or map.
I'm not an ArmA fanatic BTW, just wanted to point that out, I don't even play ArmA much :). Maybe you already know all of what I said, but maybe some people don't and I think it's important to make things clear.
Talk about the blind leading the blind, please RTFM before attempting any more "witty" commentary.
