Oh BABY, now your talking the shiz!!!
What a game. Atmospheric and with a kick ass soundtrack.
The graphics may look outdated now, but it had gameplay, which is what a lot of games don't have these days.
More please, Irrational.

Jess and Zorine tackle tentacle-faced monsters and hadouken monkeys on a mutant-infested space ship. Will they be able to fight their way through or will their nerves get the better of them?

@push88 I would love it if they did. Plus who wouldn't buy it? There would be no reason not to.
I missed out on playing the system shock series, i try to go back and play old games but damn its hard with the graphics and controls, but i would like to try it out.
If you get into the story and listen to the audio logs the game gets very scary. Once you find out whats been happeing to the crew you just look in horror and shock at whats been done. BTW girls did you get the update to graphics mod for it before you played?
All time favorite PC game for immersion and RPG. I would pay instantly for a ss3 made by someone faithful to the genre.
@ged3321 Yes, I believe Jess setup a couple of mods before we started.
Jericho? I'd go with Undying if we're going Clive Barker, one of those that should have done better commercially. So dam atmospheric, it still creeps me out.
Nothing is quite as funny as "oh my goodness" in a survival game. Charming to say the least!
I'm one of those people who keep pestering GOG to get System Shock & Sytem Shock 2 into their catalog.
I second Victor's comment. Jericho would be great! Also the 7th Guest! Great stream gals.
I actually find the Half Life series to be pretty scary...the first one more so but going through Ravenholm on 2 was terrifying! Cool show, and I feel bad I didn't get to play this when it came out. I guess I'll just wait to be able to get a digital copy :D
Cool show! I give my vote to Clive Barker's Jericho. Should be interesting to see a livestream of that one.
Those monkeys scared me! Good thing you killed them. You guys should play Splatterhouse. :)
System Shock 2... they don't make games like that anymore! Awesome game... think it is time to play thru it again:)
@tempertress @AndCarlsen You have to play the early ones. Those were scary games, not like RE 5 or 6.
@tempertress "Someone needs to make a space game where you knock the windows and then it's... *window suck audiovisual*"
You should play Dead Space.
I played this , never finished it ... guess i will have to do it again. but one thing , I listen to the soundtrack on weekly basis ... soundtrack is really good !!
Still one of the best games of all time. And I still think SHODAN is one of the best villains ever created for a video game. (I still can't believe GLADOS got more votes than SHODAN. GLADOS has nothing on SHODAN.) So deceitful, manipulative and down sadistic. Her taunts are one of those things you never forget. BTW, if you two haven't played the full game before, you really should complete the game. And make sure to listen and follow all of the audio and written logs. It may be old by today's standards, but you will never forget this game and I'd bet you will love it as much as we do.
@pr0teu5 We'll take the phone off the hook now then.
As good as Dead space is, I would still say System shock 2 was better. SS2 has 2 major high point which DS lack, RPG system and a WAY better villan. Sure, those future-Scientologist are even more crazy and funnier then what we have now days but as main game villan, they not even close on the level Shodan was. Logical to the point of pure evil...and that voice is so creepy!!
I have it installed on my one PC at all times. Playing it again every other year; having memorized the USS Rickenbacker interior. Still one of the best games on PC. You need to play it alone in the dark. This is not a run & gun FPS. You take your time.
@sethfrost Haha, that's great. We try to keep up the pace just a little so the stream doesn't get boring. If I was playing at home it would be a much slower expedition.
I hope I'm not the only one feeling entartained by watching two lasses screaming in fear =]
@AdamK47Hilariously, Jess made a formal retraction of that statement earlier this week: https://twitter.com/JessMcDonell/status/296801714684702721
