Ahead of our E3 2013 people's choice award voting, we randomly determine the first round match-ups.
There are quite a few games that won me over this year. Must check out the first Bayonneta..
they have balls bouncing around but everyones arguing in another articles comment section
interesting, theres a website already running this concept. Fans are picking Destiny on top so far. its on fanboyshowdown com
Damn Dark Souls II vs Watchdogs? I thought Dark Souls II would have an outside shot at making the final four, but looks like it's going home early vs the hype machine that is Watchdogs.
Genetlmen, let me save you some time. The Witcher 3!!!
Ok, it probably won't win, but it should.
before clicking this link on front page, there's a pics of characters. who's the well endowed woman behind scribblenauts? ^^
I didn't know that Ubisoft bought the "Tom Clancy" name. Can they affix that name to any game, like Tom Clany's Bunny Assault?
@amdreallyfast Yep. Sounds great! Rayman Rabbids and Tom Clancy crossover confirmed?
Was the selection of these games contingent on them being playable at E3? I am very excited for FFXV and KHIII, but of course those were not playable on the floor.
When those balls started flying around, the music from the Colbert Report's phone booth version started playing in my head.
Nah Ah Mr. VanOrd. You cannot beat the monster design of the Souls series, no matter how awesome the Witcher 3 is gonna be.
@McMuffin9000 Simple. And yes, you can. Noone can beat CDPR's art design, especially not DS....
@LordCrash88 @McMuffin9000 Yeah. Especially when you're looking for something original. TW3 will have plenty of monsters from Slavic mythology.
Since when was there not allowed to be a sequel to the RETURN of an AMAZING series, Donkey Kong Country Returns? If there WASN'T a sequel, it would be STUPID. He says he's disappointed by the announcement of something so amazing. Screw you, Tom.
@disneyskate We talk about this idea more on the podcast today. I'm often disappointed when a company announces a sequel, but when I played most Nintendo games at E3, I loved them.
One thing I don't understand is how this is a peoples choice decision, I don't remember a vote or did I miss it?
I think if this was all staff decisions they're playing it a little loose with "peoples choice" title.
@mkeezay22 The vote will be on the site for the next few days. It's always 1vs.1, they only put the matches together today.
@mkeezay22 There'll be a vote on Friday. They were simply declaring the random matchups today. So if you want to vote, no you have not missed it.
@Alvmes I don't think Final Fantasy XV was available for play at any of the booths so it wasn't included.
I just played the beta for Company of Heroes 2 and it was amazing, I don't understand why it's not here.
I bet if it was a console game it would be on here, and if my playtime was any indication I imagine it's E3 showing was impressive.
@mkeezay22 same goes for Total war... but they put in games like that Halo game -.-
@Majkic666 @mkeezay22 It's a shame really E3 is so focused on consoles they don't even mention when the game they're showing is on PC also, plus the fact they give minimum coverage to great PC only games is ridiculous
@mkeezay22 @Majkic666 So true! Gamespot's live coverage on Rome 2 was an insult, the interviewer showed absolutely no respect to the guy from Creative Assembly and only asked stupid question insisting on seeing elephants in the game to a really annoying degree.....
@Majkic666 @mkeezay22 LOL, that's ridiculous. Gamespot is more excited about Halo: Spartan blabla than about Rome II. Seriously? Just because there are no other games for Windows phones???
No sports games and no strategy games, but racing games and casual games....
Shame....
Yeah, why no love for sports games. There were some incredible games shown. Oh yeah, GameSpot doesn't care about sports games.
@wantbackin It's not like it's to expect that all of a sudden FIFA becomes a golf sim...no surprises and nothing new about the sport games...just flashier graphics and newer licenses and that's it then
@TacticaI @LordCrash88 @Majkic666 @Justforvisit @wantbackin Ok, let's say the core gameplay is the same. And same is true for sports games, or not? ;)
@LordCrash88 @Majkic666 @Justforvisit @wantbackin Or CoD, Blops and all the other spin offs.
Corporations like winning formulas.
@Majkic666 @Justforvisit @wantbackin Or Battlefield 4 which is exactly the same thing as Battlefield 3 with slightly better graphics.....
