hm, tomb raider series wasnt really part of my youth gaming days (was playing mario and sonic games at the time) though I know enough about what everyone things about the series its nice to see old things re amped up and available to everyone who wants to enjoy them, i'm a big fan of uncharted series so maybe i would enjoy this game, it would be interesting to see a mix between the two in the series drake meets laura the mystery of sully's missing cigars

Considering the comments deal with some big issues it would be nice to have actually addressed them. You seem to have a lot of fans tho... I guess Americans are just finding the accents funny... or something...

Didn't really pass for humor and was more unprofessional than clever.
If you ask me, Uncharted copied Tomb Raider! Finding lost treasure, relics, adventure, exploration, 3rd person platforming. Yea Tomb Raider did that first.
@AcousticSoul20 I don't really see the resemblance with Uncharted.. this game copied more from Farcry 3, imo.

believe it or not, once upon a time, people bought their games whether or not they were able to express their personal displeasure about a game they hadn't even played yet.
however did the video game industry survive?
I hear when you go to a performance of Lara's Boobs they start offering extra content for a small fee during the intermissions, such as extra props, dramatic theme music, and additional costumes/wigs.
7 Like Sadly, we could not hope for Feedbackula to encompass what really happened in that feedback section. The first day the review was up was utter madness, and it was glorious. Trolls, reviewer feeding trolls, trolls feeding trolls, and Chris Hansen. And with a series of clicks, a mod erased the whole sick mess of three hours' work.
Another stonking episode, really funny and loved the music. As far as the game goes, I'm going wait for a while and see what other people think.....Or at least wait for the nude patch :-)
1 Like As a Mexican, I tell you that it feels nice that someone who's not from around here appreciates Mexican band music. Most people who listen to this music here in Mexico are douchebags, and you aren't one of them, sir. ;)

As for Tomb Raider well.. I grew up playing the games but the new one just does nothing for me. Square have definitely tried to build the game with Uncharted in mind (a fact that can't really be denied). however in doing so they've completely abandoned the game's actual roots; where's all the tomb raiding and puzzles?! Take me back to the days of travelling the globe and escaping tigers, less of this 'woman power' business they've got going on. Lara was already cool, now they've just made the girl annoying.
Meh.. It looks nice, if not a bit 'cinematicy', but the way the girl constantly screams and falls over everything just aggravates me. Yessss we understand she's new to it all and they're re-writing the story, but that doesn't excuse the woman falling through every wooden structure or pane of glass possible.
Holding out my money for the time being, think i'll just keep playing FarCry.
@warhawk-geeby have you really play the whole game? I can see a lot of puzzles in game and you said that CD forget about it? Really? So you just like the same with other "troll" or something like that.
1 Like @namitokiwa Eh?? No you plank. I'm just going on what they're showing us. Tomb Raider has become less about finding hidden treasures and tracing history to more 'commerical' route of explosions and escaping men trying to kill you (or rape if people want to bring that subject up again). It's abandoned it's core theme.
I wasn't trolling, just sharing a matter of opinion. I swear half of you folk accusing people of being trolls don't even know the definition!
I love AC and the whole series. I just fear that with IV coming out so shortly after III like was done with Revelations. I just hope they don't mess it up again by rushing. I would rather wait for them to perfect the story which is why I play the game, then to rush and just throw anything out. In my opinion III was perfect and the best of the series so far. If they have kept the gameplay the same and it still has a driving storyline then I will be happy
1 Like Well, this was a nice way to start the day. However I must say that Lara has gone on the path of Hero to Zero. This last game hardly is an adventure game anymore, its more of a survival horror. Lets put it this way, the cool strong Lara that never wanted a single man her life, trying to find her parents, clinging to family values to do what is right and toying with evil men has been reduced to a weeping child. The Lara that kills T-Rex, Burning Centaurs, Demons from the underworld, and hordes of trained heavy armored hit men has been reduced to a hostage 12 year old. I know that you all want your stupid realism in games but this just destroys all good qualities of a ''game'' What happened to to fun ? This game just screams "I want an Oscar". Games are made for people to escape from the horrible reality we live in, not to make us relive our darkest moments.
Yes previous games took notice in Lara having a big chest, so what ? They at least were actual adventure games. This transformation is just bad... everything that has been said or even remotely done by this character has been smashed to the ground. I know one thing ,Lara was more a woman in the past games, not because of her visuals but because of her persona. Young adventurous woman, living a rich life not caring about men, making and carving her own path into history. The new story doesn't represent anything at all other than "boo hoo, look what happens when you go adventuring you stupid woman", to which I feel a bitter sadness. True the intellectual property of Lara Croft does not belong to the fans, but the author has no right to crush such a strong persona so much.
Also every man and woman should be ashamed for using Lara to further their deluded moral goals to become someone important in society. Men will all ways be chauvinistic pigs and women will always take advantage by any means to get what they want. I'm out of coffee so I'll stop here.
