    would like to make this guy angry just to see what voice comes out. also darkness 1 was very underated, the comics are interesting as well

    well, he is a rock singer at his core and an actor. voiced most zombies in L4D, anger sphere in Portal and also main character in Bionic Commando. god knows this industry needs more voices like his. as for Darkness II, it was much better than Fear 3 for example, if i were to make a comparison. proved by the metacritic score. great game with great production value.

    @ar6ra6sh9 This game was the first PS3 game I rented, in fact I picked it randomly, not knowing ANYTHING about it. The Darkness may be the most underrated game of our generation lol I introduced all my friends to it I personally think it deserves WAY more credit than it's given. I cried when...that thing happened lol I'm so corny...Besides that, the first game was anything but your run of the mill shooter. I never thought they'd make another Darkness, I had like a full on suizure when I found out haha

    wow ur the first persone i see here who cares this much about jackie and "the darkness" and im sure ur a old fellow as i read ur CM about: "plz play the first one first and dont pass it" .

    its what i always say to my friends and the darkness was one of my first games when i bought 360!

    yeah, no one should skip those moments when jackie was losing his love ... it was one of the most tragice moments of video gaming history!
    it was unfair ... cruel and so dark ...

    @daub11 This is the voice of the Darkness, a creature old as time, an evil being hell bent on taking complete control over Jackie. Jackie Estacado is the main character, raised in an orphanage, adopted by "Uncle Paulie" a mobster, who finds you inconveinent on your 21st birthday and sends his thugs to kill you. Luckily the Darkness manifests in it's host on their 21st birthday So basically, you have your greatest enemy inside you, but need his power to kill Paulie. That's the beginning of the first one. Try it out, you might like it!

    so basicly when you start playing the darkness the person who plays the actual character in the game just screams alot or dosen't scream it's all to confusing.

    His voice WOWed me the most when i played the first one (before you even know you have this wicked power) He says out of no where, a while before showing himself..."Jackiiiiiiie"

    It's hard not to be reminded of just how much better the first was... But at least Patton played the Darkness, that would be nothing short of bizarre with anyone else.

    Mike Patton can do virtually anything voice-related. His carrer is amazing, going from smooth songs from Lovage to heavy stuff like General Patton vs X-Ecutioners, or a mixed style like Fantômas or his most famous band Faith No More, ending up in Lady Gaga covers. His work in the Bionic Commando remake was great and now this. Patton is amazing!

    One of the greatest vocalists. It's amazing that he can go from screams that raw to really smooth, technical singing (such as the Kaada/Patton "Romances" LP). God knows how he's kept his range all this time too!

    To answer peoples questions, yes he did the first game's Darkness. Mike Patton is probably one of the most diversely talented vocalist in this day and age.

    This game is awesome wish it was longer beat it in like 7-8 hours still wicked game i prefer this voice acting more than the first game

    this game is a 9 not a 7, whomever reviewed this is a Moran. Plus it's not a 5 hour game, nor a ten hour game more like 20 and i am good player. Gamespot i have lost all confidence in your reviews. This is no a 7 you know i and i know it
