Dont buy this game it is a complete waste of money. The controls, AI and the missions are all poor.

If you are planning to buy this game, think again. As Ship Simulator 2006 is not worth anything. the controls are awful, so are the tutorials. Another big let-down is the menu, obviously rushed and a poor effort.

On the other hand where Ship Simulator 2006 does stand out is in the environments, very lush and pretty. The graphics are excellent in the backdrops and water but not much effort was put into the ships themselves.

Another point at which Ship Simulator fails is the AI, of which there is obviously none. Other ships make no attempt to avoid you and are basically just decoration. When a ship does collide with you, there is no damage model for realism (there is just a repair bill at the bottom of the screen) the ship just passes straight through you and continues on its designated path.

The missions, I cant say much because I uninstalled the game after the second mission. However from what I sampled, the missions aren’t any better either.

So, even if you are absolutely ship crazy, think twice before buying this game. A very poor effort.
