Not the best Ninja game out there, but not far off
Where as other ninja games will having you tracking down demons and various magical beings, Shinobido has you playing a human killing humans. Although the final boss is a magical being, up to the final level there is a very strong sense of realism throughout.
The gameplay itself is just about passable, the jumping feels blocking, with none of the flowing, ragdoll-esque moves you see in game such as God of War or Prince of Persia. The basic moves are good but they aren't great, we know that the PS2 is capable of delivering so much more for action but Shinobido never comes close to pushing the envelope.
As for the Graphics, they are ok, there are few moments in the game that even made me want to look twice, but the graphics serve their purpose well enough.
