I have no idea why this game doesn't score higher than it does.

Look, this game is one of the best games on the PS2, period. That is if you like challanging games with tight controls. The last boss is extremely difficult, even when you know how to beat him. I almost gave up on the damn guy, seriously, But I kept playing him a few times a day, until I finally beat him. I bet if I looked up a strategy guide there was a much easier way of doing it, but oh well.

The controls in this game are simple, yet the combat is difficult. You can do a double jump, and then you can dash, which means you can jump extremely far. This makes for some great platforming. But more than that, if you kill an enemy while in the air, you can double jump and dash again. You can also dash through and around enemies, exposing their weakness. This is not just something cool you can do, but very manditory if you want to beat the game or get high scores.

The combo system is the most fun. To get a combo, you must kill mutliple bad (cuss word) butts in a row. The trick is that you only get a few seconds between enemies or you don't get the combo. This makes some parts of the game almost feel like a puzzle, that is, if you try to get the combo.

Bosses, oh there are lots of nice and hard bosses. Bosses are why I play games. You even fight a helecopter, but it is suprisingly easy. The bosses are well designed and, like I said, challanging as all get out. I image the games difficult is why this game didn't score higher than it did. Bunch of non-gaming wussies. :p

Get the game.
