The entire Shinobi series were instant classics and this is no exception.

Gameplay: Never have my needs of hack and slashing my way through hordes of ninjas been better fulfilled. The main weapons in the game are Shurikens, your trusty katana, your fists and feet, and of course the tradition... Read Full Review

I'm only glad the recent titles redeemed the series because this game is BLAH.

The good things- Most noteably here, Joe Musashi is really freaking cool. He's a ninja with no need for camo. In fact, he wears white so enemies can see the guy that's about to throw kunai in their necks. Gameplay w... Read Full Review

    The best Shinobi game

After 'Revenge' the Shinobi games went downhill quite bit with the rather tepid Shadow Dancer. I know I'm not the only person in the world who was disappointed with the Genesis port because the arcade version (and even t... Read Full Review

A good game today, an exceptional game in its time.

Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master was a game I enjoyed greatly during my time on the Genesis. It was a very good looking game to me and had a unique style to it. In Shinobi III the basic idea was to get from the ... Read Full Review
