Since "Neo" means "New" and sometimes refers to "New Generation" I cannot compare this Shining Force its great ancestors

First of all, let me say that shining force neo is an awsome "action RPG." Maybe everyone would just call it "a hack n' slash" but then again who didn't pummel their controller to oblivion when playing action games like Dynasty Warriors 2-5XL. Shining Force Neo's awesome graphics make up that as well as leveling up and finding cool weaponry ( at which most of the time i still die even though i have the best sword at the time). I want to cause all out mayhem and SFN delivers with avengence.
The anime is cool and the character designs are, also. Just kill the voiceovers. They make Max's character terrible. Also some of the music sounds like retro Johnny Quest or something, but overall it's str8. I can't knock the game because I spent 3 hours hooked when first opened it
So i give SFNeo a 9.1!!!!
