    Tour de Force

The latest Shining Force in a long line of series as I can remember to the Sega Genesis is definitely unlike previous Shining Forces that I played...it took all the fun elements of past and made it so incredible. I was ... Read Full Review

Read a lot of reviews on this game whilst playing and the reactions were rather mixed. I have seen people giving this game a 8 while some gave a 4 8. Being a shining force fan myself, it's really disappointing that the l... Read Full Review

Shining Force Neo showed some promise with good ideas, but the repetitive nature and long game killed it for me.

For a pure and simple dungeon hack, Shining Force Neo did alot of things right, and many things wrong. The things Shining Force Neo did correctly (for a dungeon hack) was the storyline. If you've played any dungeon hac... Read Full Review

Good for more than 60 hours of mindless fun, but don't expect anything amazing.

Shining Force Neo is a hack and slash of the simplest kind - attack with the circle button, cast magic/using special weapon abilities with the triangle button, use items with the square button, and pick up items dropped ... Read Full Review

    Hack N Slash w/ a story

Great hack n slash type game with a good (not to mention lengthy) story line to it. Don't have a lot of time in the game yet but from what I have seen so far it has a solid character base and what looks like plenty of c... Read Full Review

THis is one of the best hack n slashs on PS2

I think this series addition is very interesting once you get into it a few hours, the ability to have tons of entities in motion all at once is great even though the game is showing it can bogg the aged PS2. The story i... Read Full Review

Good, but not a bit like the old Shining Forces.

Gameplay - good, not very complex and it's efficient. The only problem is that sometimes you'll use the special attack instead of the warp, because you will forget to change it. Graphics - good graphics. Nothing perfe... Read Full Review

    Old school? Not quite.

Walked into Gamestop and I was looking for a few new games to pick up. Lo and behold I see the Shining Force title on the shelf and my jaw drops. I grew up with Shining Force on the Sega Genesis system. The first two gam... Read Full Review
