Shining Force 2 is simply the best 16-bit RPG there is, even better that the mighty Chrono Trigger (which is second IMO).

if you like RPGs you should love this, its a strategy RPG where you can get a total of 30 party members in the game (some of which are secret), you take 12 of these at a time into battle.

its entriely up to you which combination of classes and characters you use. each of the classes are as follows (some are the same character after they've been promoted to a new class):

the game has a great story, great characters and great gameplay, with 4 difficulty settings and loads of secret stuff, not to mention the tons of variations of parties you can have there's plenty to keep you coming back.
