The First SMT game to come to America doesn't dissapoint with its unique graphic style and storyline its simply amazing.

When you begin you are a high school kid going to meet his teacher and a friend. When you finally meet up with them you find out the world is to be thrown into chaos and that everything you know and love is going to dissapear forever. As this prophecy comes true a stranger bestows upon you the powers of a demon a "Magatama". Throughout this game u play as the "Demi-Fiend" you are the classic silent protagonist seen in many RPGs recently. As you begin searching for your lost friends and teacher you find the world totally populated by demons. You also get yourself into much danger as you travel the demon ridden land and learn much of this new world you have arrived in. The battle system of SMT Nocturne is very classic but uses many unique new things. It is turn-based but each character can pass only useing half a turn while can be used by the next player, with this you can fight more strategically and make certain characters receive multiple turns. Also you are alone as just the hero but you have the power to convince other demons that you fight to join you in your fight. Through convincing demons to join you and useing the fusion techniques you can get a very large library of different demons. The Shin Megami Tensei series has its own unique style of graphics that you see in all of their titles. This style is hard to describe but it reminds me of a dark anime-ish theme something i have only seen with this series. There is a giant library of differnt spells and skills you can get and perform that all look very well done while you traverse the unique and artistic world you found yourself in. It being a series that hasn't fully come to America the music is not that well known and i can't look back on the classics. The soundtrack although new and unknown gives a great atmosphere for the game and has great quality. There are few games that have as good of themes and music to keep you entertained throughout the game. Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne is a great and unique RPG that was a great experience and i would suggest that anyone and everyone try it regardless of first views. It not only delivers a great and unique story that has multiple endings but an amazing battle system. I would rate SMT: Nocturne a very well deserved 9.5 out of 10, this game is very unique and should be played by everyone.
