And again, nice to see 3DS get more rpgs... but can we get some console love for this series again? P4 really left me wanting another one!
Looks pretty good. I loved Strange Journey but I was really hoping they would finally drop negotiation. It would be nice if it at least borrows Persona 4 Golden's fusion system.
I believe negotiation gives more personality to every single enemy. One thing I learned from Nocturne: don't trust those femmes (especially Rangda!), they'll just ask you for some soma droplets and run away!
@Megamandrew I also think its a little weird that there are some awesome looking 3D graphics but the combat is 2D.
I knew it would be good but the trailer actually exceeded my expectations! Excellent graphics wow. They really designed this well on 3DS.
I saw this in my issue of Game Informer the other day, and I'm excited for it. Though, I was hoping that the graphics would be better. It all looks pretty pixelated for a game running on the newest handheld system.
2 Like it would be nice to have CGI animated monster battle that takes advantage of the 3DS hardware, as opposed to cardboard monsters that look like it came from the DS
I really want this game. I wonder if it's going to be as hard to find as Fire Emblem. I'll bet it will be, which is ridiculous to me. Hell, I still don't see FE in stores. Luckily I ordered mine off Amazon because I was tired of trying to find it. And Monster Hunter seems to be very hard to find too. Damnit Japan, WhyTF do you not send enough copies over here?
1 Like I DOnt like the Too Clasic playstyle of Shin megami tensei for no reason, I play dragon quest and i dont have these problem. I wonder why is that?

My only gradual complaint is that the demons are not re-posed since any older games. I'd be a cranky demon too, if I had to hold the same pose for years.
1 Like @cinerius Pretty good, but a lot of grinding. The boss battles and fusing powerful demons were the games highlights. I'm currently on my second playthrough of Nocturne and I'm still liking it :) .
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I first played it a few years ago and seriously loved it. As soon as I finished it (Amala Network included) I started a new game plus and reached the Mantra headquarters on the same evening (Dante crushed me a few times though!).
It made me love mythology and the story is one of the most intriguing and unique in gaming history. Definitely one of those games one remembers way after having finished it.
@cinerius i thought digital devil saga was the equal of nocturne....but either way...massive wins!!!
