This is just a good RPG, due to Atlus’ programmers who left the best for the sequel.

User Rating: 8.1 | Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga PS2
The game is a good game, no doubt about it. The story is good for sure, but Atlus left the better part for the second series, which make the story missing something. The battle system is great, though. It’s depends a lot on gamers’ knowledge of the enemies’ weaknesses and skills set up. The graphics are good, but it is too outdated as a game of the year 2005. The music is okay, but the quality isn’t enough for a critic, and the gamers will only be delighted by some of the music. The value of the game is not really high, but it is still a great game compared to most of the other console RPG of the same kind. The game is just good enough as long as the gamer will not bored because of the senseless NPC and the long dungeon without some cut scenes. Those who love the superb sequel should play the game even if they aren’t like the game that much because the game will helps to unlock some cool stuff in the sequel. Religious gamer should be careful with the story thought.
