Easily one of the best Gundam games ever made.

This game gives me a feeling of nostalgia, and reminds me of one of my favorite anime series from the 1990's named Gundam Wing.

I think the gameplay is fun because the elements from Gundam Wing were decently incorporated into the gameplay. You can fire the machine-gun at the press of a button(you have a limited number of bullets, but when you land successful attacks on your opponent, you will receive more bullets),and there's special moves such as more powerful projectiles you can shoot, and there's a more stylish special move that's similar to the shoryuken from the Street Fighter series that you can counter a jumping opponent with.

It's quite easy to pick up your opponent and slam them into the ground,so being too defensive will result in you being punished. Some Gundam suits have powerful melee weapons too,and you can even do things such as sweep your opponent or hit them with a jumping kick.

Because you're fighting in mech suits, the gameplay is designed to be a bit clunky, but it's still tactical, and it kinda reminds me of Street Fighter II in mech suits.

There's also super combo style attacks, which can be done after you charge up the super attack bar to full, and if your super combo attack connects with an enemy,it can deplete a large amount of their health.

I like how the game is presented, because at the title screen you'll be shown some nice footage of the character named Relena(a very important character from the story)and you'll hear the music from the song '' rhythm of emotion''which is one of the Gundam Wing theme songs that I love.

When you're selecting a mobile suit, you'll see the pilot of that mobile suit and the artwork is nice and you'll be shown the stats of each mobile suits such as speed, agility, armor etc.

I like how during the gameplay, you'll see how the mobile suits are much taller than the buildings near them(which gives you an idea of how tall the mobile suits are),and the environments consist of futuristic cities, desert wit a beautiful sunset, battlefields and wastelands,on snow/ice and on board giant starships.

I also like how when you're far away from your opponent,a target will be displayed on the screen and when it locks onto your opponent, you'll know your gunshots will hit your opponent.

The music at the character select screen and at the VS screen is great because it has the great 1990's Japanese style electronic music and during gameplay there's music from the anime and when you defeat an opponent, there's a cool sound affect that sounds like it's synthesized and suits the futuristic atmosphere.

When the mobile suits walk, you'll hear their loud footsteps and when an opponent blocks an attack you'll hear the attack being absorbed by the shield.

The only things I don't like about this game are the final boss which is the mobile suit epyon,is very cheap and it's too unfair how Epyon can deplete your health so fast. Also the game was never offically released outside of Japan and you'll need a Japanese SNES to play it.

Finally I would like to say, this game is easily one of the best Gundam games ever made, and while most Gundam games aren't very good, this game is a fun fighting game and a good Gundam game.
