Yes thats a 9.0! I just have one problem otherwise its incredible!
Graphics are near perfect. Trees seem a little Gran Turismo 2.
Car physics, and with that I mean handling and the way it moves. The way you can see and then feel the grippy parts of the track. Then feel and see the car react in a much more realistic way than many other racing games.
Shift 2 stands out fully as a very good racing game, again visually it's brilliant. Realism of the cars and track, again brilliant. It certainly means you will need to alter how you drive in games because you certainly will after a few laps.
Sadly this may well be the last Shift 2, especially from EA as the makers are now at work with Project Cars. What seems to be heavily invested into. It's going to be epic.
But until then we have this, possibly the best racing game since Gran Turismo 2.
Negatives,
Lack of content. Cars are a little short, DLP for Speedhunters and Legends are ok, but still could have been more. More to play with.
Online Steam problems. Seems in most Steam instalations if you race online, you will see yourself and others on Steam rolling around in your location, very annoying and not been fixed. There is a link on the Steam Forum for a fix.
