Suggestion to the reviews, Difficulty- Just right if you are experience driver.
Here is some of my after thought and suggestion, people tends to give a lower rating because they hit the wall in the game, without or didn't know how to search for answers. When i install and play the first lap of the game, the screen lags frame by frame. Slideshow for need for speed race. Smoke is coming on my head. I made some of the adjustment in and out of the game, then the game runs much smoother then previous. (to acceptable level). First, update your video driver to near the most recent one. 2) restart your machine on fresh start and close many startup programs/ set silent or temp shut off anti-virus. 3) Go to video card control panel adjust "3d setting" make sure "anisotropic filtering" and "anti-aliasing" set to Application Controlled or similar choice. 4) In the game, texture, car detail, track detail can be medium or high if u have better graphic card. "Anisotropic filtering" should set 4x, 8x or 16x depends what graphic card u have. "Anti-aliasing" normal or high depends your card. V-sync-yes. You are probably set to go.
Why 7.5 rating? Graphic and game-play is good, but the sound isn't that realistic. In order to enjoy the great graphic in the game, u need to have good or excellent graphic card. Frame rate is definitely lower than many other good fun games.
My spec. win 7 64 bit, i5-2.6ghz, nvidia gt425m, 640gb, 4 gb ram, 1080fhd notebook and in- game resolution.
Final word, if i can play this game in my notebook, other can play it with their desktop or notebook with similar spec. Otherwise, it is not the game problem, is your computer problem.
