I bought this game simply for another shooter in the collection. I was suprised when my Father, who is a Nam vet, and normally enjoys watching his son kill (through simulation only) told me to turn it off! The backgrounds and sounds are simply too close to home for a vet. That just made me enjoy it more...watching those "rice paddy" hats fall to my overwhelming weapons is just plain fun, but the realism is really cool. Having visited Vietnam myself, I could see the realism through experienced eyes. The gameplay is superb, just enough gore to make it real without going over the top like some shooters. I give this game alot of credit and it is the most realistic shooter I own to date...excellent! Realistic missions, and you can even get your hands on amphetamines to pick you up, and benzo's to steady the nerves to snipe the enemy. Included are some Vietnamese "women of pleasure" you can get your hands on. All in all this game is as real as you will "hopefully" see of the true horrors of the Vietnam war...in your own loungeroom sipping your favourite drink.
Ok i admit this may not be one the best games ever but damn it's top 5 for me. No it doesnt have crazy good graphics or realistic gameplay it is just fun to play. I really enjoy playing it and since it is backwards compa... Read Full Review
