Horrors of Nam
In shellshock nam 67 you play as a grunt in Vietnam that has recently been sent to Vietnam you follow the grunt and his friends for the whole game.
Gameplay:
The gameplay in Shellshock has been seen before in other 3rd person shooters. Depending on the level, you either play Nam 67 as stop and pop shooter or as a run gun. You get to fight in jungles of Vietnam or villages and farms. You get a wide selection of weapons to use and some are better than others and some are better than others depending on the terrain. Some of the weapons in the game are:
M3 grease gun
K98 rifle (i think)
M16( you need one in every nam shooter)
M14 sniper
m-60( of course!)
Rocket pistol
Flamethrower
50. cal deathmachine gun
RPG-7
Grenade launcher.
I could go on. The enemies respwan to simulate how many there are and to make sure that there sucidal charges are actually good. As you go through the game you get access to more weapons like machine guns.
After each mission you return to your base camp to buy weapons practice and talk with your buddies it is a nice feature that might get boring after a while. You can use stealth if you want but i have to be honest and say it is aboustelty POINTLESS why bother when you can storm in with a AK-47?
Most of the time you are fighting with comrades but sometimes your not.
There are no canteens or med kits in the game but instead you have chevrons turning colour to simulate how injured you are but if you wait you will get your health recharged.
There are many more features but there is too many to write.

Graphics
Well the textures arent that great but the reason it gets its 7 is because the gore in it is satisfying to see like seeing a perfect M-16 shot take off a head or a arm but the best thing to see is a rocket pistol, grenade or rocket launcher completly dismember someone. I like the way in cutscenes the game goes all fuzzy but this could annoy some. Graphics 7
Sound The gun sounds are okay to say my personal favourite is the deathmachine gun it just makes a good sound. The vietcong and NVA speak English and thier own language. In English they say things like " You go home in body bag G.I" which is a little weird.
The squadmates dialog sounds disjointed and fuzzy sometimes which is annoying.
There is some swearing that isnt that much really not compared to brothers in arms.

Value
Its quite an easy game if you are an vetrean at shooters any type.
You will blow through it quickly if you are really good (like more than 7 hours but less than 10 hours)
Shellshock is a good game overall that provides you with run and gun and some duck and shoot gameplay. You get a lot of weapons at your disposal there are your vietnam type of environments. You have some gore that isnt that isnt bad but might be sickening to some ( guts hanging out of bodies anyone?) and give you good gun sounds and some swearing.
