If you like Vietnam war games go play Men of Valor or Vietcong 2. Anything besides this game!
For example the first level was broken as I could not proceed into the court yard. I had to actually restart the level to get through the area.
Secondly, the gameplay is linear and ridgid that this game makes shooters of the past look great. You can't play this game in different ways and when a cut sceen props up where your attacked by a Vietcong soldier and you have to repeatedly press "A" or "B" buttons which are obviously from the XBox controller your like, huh? I mean they didn't even convert the controls for the PC and to me that's laziness on the part of the games designers.
The story is the only interesting feature in this game but even at that its half-baked because to me it really doesn't make a bit of since. The only thing I can figure out is that they mirrored the plot from a movie years ago called "Jacobs Latter" which was about a experimental drug that the US army used on soldiers in Vietnam. The game is not very long but for me it was way too long due to the misery it caused me
The sounds and graphics are also sub-par. Though the graphics don't look too bad it doesn't look that great rather last gen. There are rough edges and glitches in some of the levels. The sound is decent but can be extremely annoying sometimes when oyur comanders shout orders at you or call you names.
Overall, bad game play, average graphics and sound and a weak story to boot. If this game ever becomes free it's still not worth playing because of many negitives that ruin any immersion one could experience.
