Shatterhand is definitely an overlooked treasure. Its your basic platformer, but the charm comes from the heroes powers to "shatter" everything. So basically you run around destroying robots,villains and such with your hand. Gameplay: Basically just run around hitting things with your hand until they explode, the game mixes it up but most levels are essentially the same.
Controls: Not too complex, jump or throw some punches or as i call them hand smashes.
Replay Value: moderate.
Value: Worth playing at least once.
Overall: Shatterhand is a great nes game. It offered alot for its time. The game carries an element of humor considering the things you are able to destroy with your "Shatterhands". Its a great game to check out.
