When I first purchased this game I was suprised to find it was turn based and not a traditional RTS game. This took nothing away from my enjoyment of this game. The story in a nutshell is a fictional 2nd civil war in 2015. You must choose one of 7 factions to play as(the remaining 6 are comp controlled in the campaign) Each state is represented and the manual gives you a good idea of who belongs where. The game features units that you would expect to see in a conflict of this matter, with each region having some exclusive ones. I am truly impressed with the AI. It really seems that is reacts according to how you work your end, instead of Enemies seeming scripted and linear. The music can get a bit repetitive however the tunes played go well with the setting. I found the political reputation meter a nice touch(you are considered good and righteous if you avoid collaterall damage, and viewed as a tyrant if a tank in the middle of manhatten dosn't deter you from blowing it up). This is a good choice for gamers that want to be involved in a strategy game but don't feel the need to be changing guns on the fly and setting up that perfect head shot.
