A short but good story and amazing visuals and awesome characters make this a must try.

This is most definitely one of the best side-scrolling beat 'em up I have played in a while. The story is quite short, but interesting none the less. It starts up fast paced and never really lets go of that pace right through to the end. Amazing boss fights that force you to rethink your strategy are moderately paced, almost as though to avoid making the player bored. Discovery of more weapons along the way also makes for slightly varied game play, although its more common for the player to stick to one of the heavier weapons like the chainsaw or samurai sword. The game is incredibly immersive, and makes never want to stop until the end.

Although I have yet to try the co-op mode extensively, I could say that it offers a similarly fantastic experience as well as the chance to do some awesome twosome combos. Its also important to state that the game just happens to have the right amount of gore to keep you wanting to see more.
