SHANK you very much, great game.
Graphics - simple yet amazing, colourful, stylish, kinda Cell Shaded and uses a lot of bells and whistles to bring the game to life on your screen, very cool.
Sound - the voice acting is quite nice, nothing over the top but does work well for the game, the effects are fine and the weapons sound are meaty enough, the music as with most sidescrollers can get slightly repetitive but never annoying really.
Gameplay - man this game is violent, in a cartoonish way but damn its violent (and funny at times), the combos are fantastic, they range from knife stabbing, chainsaw bits & pieces, shotgun blasts and even grenade FOOD (yep, shove a grenade in your enemy's mouth and watch him blow up).
the game itself is easy to pick up and play but some of the later fights ca be a little hard, maybe frustrating but still a lot of fun when you do manage to pull it off.
Multiplayer - there's CO-OP multiplayer, you can invite a friend and have him play with you as your sidekick partner in crime with a gamepad, the multiplayer actually features a Story which is a prequel to the main singleplayer story, another great touch in Shank.
Conclusion - i can't praise enough this game, it's an absolute blast to play as long as you play it in short burst otherwise it might get a little boring, sidescrollers are no Crysis and are not meant to be played straight for hours
i also found it suprising that this cool game is an EA (Electronics Arts) game, i wish they would release more nice titles such as this one instead of milking the cow.
