Okay. Gamespot and G4 reviewed this game on the Xbox, which is for RPGs and 1st-person shooters. The PS2 sucks with multi-platformers. The Gamecube one is the best. At first, it will be very fast, but Sonic games are supposed to be fast. While the camera will cause you to die a lot at first, you get used to it. You don't like seeing Shadow with guns? Don't use them! Be warned, though. The later levels are near impossible without using weapons (and a mission on Central City is impossible without weapons). My personal favorite is the Omochao Gun. You hate Omochao? Blast his head at the black aliens or the GUN soldiers. Oh, and you can choose if Shadow does the Dark mission on a level (usually this means helping out the main villain Black Doom or helping Eggman) or the Hero mission (helping out others like Sonic, Espio, or Maria, Professor Gerald Robotnik's granddaughter). Or you can just race ahead to the Goal Ring and complete the Normal mission. The controls are a problem child at first, like many missed spin dashes or screeching to a halt in front of Eggman's robots and getting blasted, but you get used to the controls quickly. The sound is good, except for Charmy's voice. While his voice is annoying in every Sonic game, this one might make your ears bleed.
