The ultimate life form gets his own game, and it couldnt be better
So I got a Ps2 3 years ago and forgot about this game, till I recently saw 2 copies at my local store.
I bought it thinkin it wouldnt be very good, and when I came home I put it in ready for action.
The minute the Intro started, I got my mind blown away and was happy about the purchase I made.
Unfortunatly the gameplay and the intro are 2 very different things, but the gameplay is still pretty good.
Im not really a fan of the sonic games and id be willing to give them a shot, but this game made me get into the franchise and thats why I love it.
I loved this game so much, I got 6 of 10 Endings, and then it broke ;(
The only things I didnt like was the camera, it sometimes went wild and you couldnt see anything, but it wasnt bad.
Overall:
Graphics: The CGI Cutscenes, though very few, are outstanding and real awsome for a 2005 game. The normal graphics were okay, but they were sometimes disorted.

Sound: I liked some tracks from this game such as 'Black Doom",'I Am', but other tracks got repetitive like 'Mad Matrix' and I would mute for that level.
There was also good voice acting and lip synch, so that makes up for it.

Story: Theres 10 endings to this game and 1 TRUE Ending, but technically speaking theres hundreds of ways of playing the game,e.g one ending I got for Pure Dark-hero was something called "Turning pain into Rage" or something like that.

Controls: The controls were pretty simple to learn with Square for attacking and shooting and X for jumping and a homing attack.
My only complain was the camera, but it wasnt that bad.

Overrall: This game is pretty good and it seems to me that its very underrated, I reccomend it to any sonic fan, there may be some annoying and pointless stuff like vehicles and a mdamaged camera, but anyone will enjoy this game.
My favorite part about it was searching for that DAMN Fouth Chaos Emerald
