Alot of cutscenes, the stealth is just plain bad, but will the combat save it?

Probably yes. This game generally isnt bad, but there are in my opinion alot of downsides to the game. The first down side is the stealth, this part is just plain bad, and it happens alot in the game, which is a shame because it means half the time you could be slaying people, your running around with pots and trying to smash enemies with poor AI over the head.

Secondly are the cutscenes, im not saying the storyline is bad, i think its generally an ok storyline, but they happen all the time, thinking about, levels are very short, majority of them are cutscenes.

thridly this game can become fustratingly difficult, mainly in the stealth missions due to bad AI, but some opponents are also very hard to beat.

The last one i can think of are the weapons, they look and play good, but the swords tend to get damaged and unusable very quickly, but more weapons can be picked up.

The game is a good length, ive been playing it for a little over 6 hours and ive only just started the 2nd chapter, hopefully this will contain less stealth action and more ruthless slaughtering in the coluseum.

The graphics for the game are great, the light effects are good and the detail of the characters and enviroment are also very impressive.

The sound to is very good, the sound of the swords clashing sounds realistic and the voice overs are good too, however, the voice of the gladiator sounds a little weak, would be much better with a guy with a deep voice.

generally this is a good combat game once you get past the awful stealth mission (which come up way to much, thus the lower score compared to everybody else) and the amount of cutscenes (that cant be skipped) during the game. This is worth playing, and probably worth buyinh because its bound to keep you gaming for a good coupel of hours.
