Loading???

The only game that does not run on my PS2 is Shadow of Rome. I bought the game 3 different times, got one to work on my buddies PS2, but never mine on all 3.

I took apart my console to adjust the eye piece, all the way down. The game still does not work, but every other game I own does? It does not make sense to me....Can anyone help me...Please??
