Okay, it may seem average from a glance, but glancing isn't the way to go with this. Oh no, it's actually pretty intricate, path-wise. You can choose the normal path and get only about half of the treasures. Or, for people obsessed with getting 100% on everything, they can take side paths that lead to new areas in a levels, or just new areas that have nothing to do with the plot. It's all about what you're up to. But for me, it's a great idea to include different ways of going, much like in the second Wario Land. Sure, some people just wanna beat it, but hey, the fun is actually getting every single collectible there is. Bored of side-scrolling and have all 7 crayons? Then play the mini-game between the North and West areas. It's a good break to an already great game. With all that aside, Wario Land 3 is a great game where you can pick up and play, then play some more after a while.
