Fast Paced Rampage!
There isn't much of a plot in this game. Basically all you have to do is go through various levels blasting the hell out of everything that moves before moving on. There are a lot of weapons to choose from and some of the weapons have different types of ammo for them which are pretty cool. There are a ton of diiferent enemies and a few vehicles that you can drive which also have their own weapons. This game offers around 32 levels with 4 difficulties for each. It also has a good multiplayer mode with a lot of maps to play and different game types
The graphics are pretty bad for the most part. While everything is bright and clear, the textures of the surroundings and the character model aren't very detailed. It reminds me of a semi-realistic, cell shaded style.
I think the music adds a lot to this game as it really starts to pick up when you are under heavy attack and it sounds decent too. The sound effects are all nicely done but some of the weapons like the pistols and uzis sound a bit weak. All the enemies have distinct sounds like the kamikazies signature screams as they are running towards you. Serious Sam also throughs out some one liners throughout the game. It's a little reminder of Duke Nukem but toned down a bit.
This really is a great game. It won't take long to complete as I've almost finished it and I bought it about 2-3 days ago but you can always go back and play single mode again either with different characters or with changing the difficulty. Plus there is multiplayer which is a blast to play and and you can have up to 4 players. All in all, I'm glad I got it.
