Wow, this is almost as good as the first Serious Sam game.

I really don't know why this game got such low ratings. It's almost as good as the first game! Yeah, the graphics aren't good, but who cares. It doesn't follow the storyline of the first Serious Sam game but it's pretty much just it's own storyline. You get to go through Rome, China and Atlantis. The levels are pretty interesting and different from the first game. It feels like a good old Serious Sam game: The humor is great, the monsters are interesting (and they keep plenty from the first game), the levels are pretty open, and some other things as well. They have lots of multiplayer modes for added replay value, and the single player mode is long enough for anyone to enjoy it. You get pretty much all of the weapons from the first game, including some updated things like homing ammo and ricochet ammo. Some of the things that were a little disappointing were that the levels aren't as open as the original, but it'd be difficult to do that on the PS2. Also, there's some good music in the game, but not enough of it. Overall, this is a great game, especially for Serious Sam fans.
