Sega SuperStars E3 2004 Preshow First Look
Sega is bringing its roster of popular characters to the EyeToy this fall.
At E3 2004, Sega will be putting Sega SuperStars on display. The game is Sega's first title for Sony's EyeToy peripheral for the PlayStation 2, and it will feature many of Sega's most popular characters in a series of unique minigames. Sonic Team's Yuji Naka is heading up the project, and Sega is designing the game to be simple enough for the whole family to enjoy. More than a dozen minigames will be included in Sega SuperStars, each of which has been redesigned exclusively for the EyeToy. You'll be able to collect bananas in Super Monkey Ball, race through Sonic's superspeed tube, fight with Akira or Rau from the Virtua Fighter series, and play several different types of instruments in Samba de Amigo.
Sega SuperStars is set to be released this fall. We'll be sure to give the game a test-run from the E3 2004 show floor, so stay tuned for more coverage in the near future.
