I am a sonic fanboy and when i heard of SST i thought i wasnt even gonna play because i thought it would be a mario tennis rip-off. Until i played the 360 version at my friends house.it was fun.and i was thinking of getting it for my PS3 but then my other friend was offering it to me for free so i was like heck ill take the ps2 version.and i like it,lets see why.

Story-no story(gameplay percentage counts up 50% to 60%.) doesnt count.....

Gameplay-You cant swing freely but when the ball comes that the time to hit it.sometimes for some reason the game wont respond to your control even when the ball is right in front of you. There are 16 superstars and there are all have something they specailize in.either, speed, power, spin,or all around.its pretty good but the irresponsive controls at times are bad.also there is a superstar mode where you can do two "special hits".its solid.

Graphics/Design-its pretty good nice colorful slot to do with where the superstar lives but some places like outrun i didnt even know who was that.but the most pretty descriptive.

VA-There is barely any so know gameplay counts 70% of this review.
doesnt count.....

Multiplayer-there is a multiplayer but its not split screen making the player on the non-serving side harder to play as.but the controls are a bit more tight in this mode.

Music-Sega has always had great music and this is no exception.

Overall- its a great game but nothing super cool.still works and actually a better substitute than super mario tennis for the GC.
