Nothing special, there's better alternatives available.
On installing it, and applying the 'patch' it advised me to straight away I was playing, but was so grossly underwhelmed it hurts.
The visuals are good, but by no means nothing special - DiRT looks far superior in comparison. This has a distinct 'cartoony' take on it's otherwise highly detailed models and terrain.
The controls just don't feel right to me, the original Sega Rally and Sega Rally 2 had a more arcadey, easy and accessible feel - This doesn't drive like a sim (like DiRT), but just seems wrong.
Just over a week and I can't bear to play it again, it's just frustrating, dull and has nothing that the original Sega Rally was, or had to offer.
If you want a serious rally game, get DiRT. If you want just an arcadey racer - Test Drive Unlimited is a fine choice.
