An Explosion Of nostalgic Awesomeness !!! Buy This Game !
Having grown up in the era where the megadrive, (genesis if your in the states etc) and snes where the kings of console gaming, its fantastic to see these retro games come back with a huge punch. Its good to know that the 'old' games can still pack a serious blow in the modern gaming world, you just cant beat the classic buzz you get when playing ecco the dolphin, the original sonic (the one that started it all), and the awesome golden axe. Ok the graphics are not the best ever but the gameplay totally makes up for that in all aspects. Anyone remember the first time you turned into the werewolf beast (In Altered Beast) or when you first saw sonic and tails pop up and wave those famous fingers, Fantastic !! My seven year old nephew was glued to the screen when i was playing altered beast and now he wants my megadrive!!!! The only thing wrong with this game is that there are so many missing titles like streets of rage 1 & 2!!, desert strike & after burner ( I could go on forever) lets hope that a few more volumes will be relased in the future I conclude in saying with the retro feel perfectly ported over and with the history behind these games this is an absolute must buy, play the games that shaped a generation !!
