Disappointing Launch.

User Rating: 5.2 | Seed PC
I only just started the game today so i dont really have a good understanding of the gameplay system and how the game works overall.

However i did manage to experience 5 server crashes and a lot of bugs which help make the game unplayable. One of these bugs im having is forexample the screen itself, it keeps running in windowed mode and the lack of a configured Graphics setting menu just makes it worse.

Gameplay wise its sort of like EVE. You start off as a colonist and you have to train in skills in the certains areas to do certain things. It works the same way as the EVE system in which you select a skill and wait a couple of hours before its been learnt. Im not saying this is a bad idea, infact i think it fits very well with this sort of game but overall i cant give a good gameplay review since im having trouble actually playing the game.

Another thing that bugs me is the lack of a tutorial. I mean your set in a MMO on a space station and all you have is these 3 tools which you have no idea what to do with. It took me a well 30 mins just to understand how the moving system works (click on the ground movement).

There is no music what so ever and the sounds make me want to mute the game and listen to the TV instead.

Finally, i think seed has great potential especially for gamers like me who want to actually interact with the world and concentrate on other things instead of combat. With that said, theres no doubt that the game was released waaay too early. My suggestion is for you all to wait till the bugs are fixed and read the upcoming review before buying the game. Keep in mind that theres a 14 free day trial tho, but you need a credit card to register.

Avoid for now.
