It's like the whole weirdness of the internet turned into a 3D world and it's actually fun to explore from time t

Alright this one is hard to describe actually...
I think the best way would be to call it a fully customizable
3D sandbox.

Therefore it isn't so much a game but more like a playground
to realize your own little dream and share it with other players.
Therefore there actually is a lot to discover from pretty castles
to Hardcore SM clubs.
(this is neither a joke nor the weirdest thing I've seen in this game)
Luckily though the areas have some kind of age restriction so you aren't likely
to find such things in the teen section of the game.

The game itself can be played for free but you can choose to exchange money
for areas to build on or for the ingame currency.
A bit scary is that the ingame currency can at all times be traded for real money and vice versa so the producers are stepping a bit over the line here so I'd suggest to not let children play this without parental control or better yet to just make them an account where this feature is deactivated.

On the technical side the game suffers a bit. The graphics can be pretty good.
but will require an up-to-date system. Furthermore the way the game is made induces some horrible lag due to the game featuring the possiblity to upload livestreams as well as custom textures, models and sounds so a whole lot of data will be sent back and forth.
That's actually quite sad but I guess this issue could only be helped by massive server updates which probably won't work with the current semi-free billing system.
If you can live with the lag though then the game can be quite enjoyable
to explore since there will be always something new to discover.
Just remember that there might be stuff in the game that you don't want your kids to see.
