Let me start by saying I got this game as the second of a Buy one close-out game get the second for half-price deal. The good news it only cost $5.00. The bad news five dollars was still too much to pay for it. I'm writing this review in the hope that I can save someone else the wasted money and time as well. Seablade has the old familiar future earth societies at war plot. Nothing new is added to that tired plot genre either. Well you are the dashing hero pilot returned to duty because you were the wreckless type. Gee, I've never played a game where you are that charcter before. You get your briefing , choose an available Seablade and start out on the mission. The Seablades are hybrid plane/ submarine type vehicles which on the surface seem like a cool idea but in execution they're not. Your missions are essentially the same three over and over again. 1. Scouting Missions where you have to pass through targets. 2. Rescue missions where you ferry people back to you aircraft carrier. 3. Delivery Missions where you ferry equipment from the carrier to the cities. That's it and you do it over and over and over. With just a few cutscenes to explain the difference. Like the main review says the underwater could have been the standout to this game but its just a blah part of the game. The shhooting & handling isn't great and the secret missle towers that don't show up on radar are a pain. But the game isn't very hard. The graphics are sort of a Anime/ Blade runner cross and are nothing special. The cut scenes are pretty bad as well. So in closing nothing here to recommend at any price. Even if this game were free I'd probably take a pass. It's certainly not worth even a rental. Ah well just one more game in my lousy game hall of fame collection
