any luck with the crystal bones of king ellipses? tried a few things but nothing is working

There are 3 bones that you actually pick up within the level:
- Crystal Huge Spine (high in the tree branches)
- Crystal Huge Ribcage (sitting in the open, at ground level, near the center of the map)
- Crystal Huge Bone (in the room to the far right of the Necromancer who gives you the quest)

Maxwell must pick them all up individually and bring them each down into the chamber below the tree and place them into the Huge Coffin. Once all three have been collected, the Necromancer will do his/her thing.

I can't find the sheep in Storybook Keep,

This one took me a while, too. Turns out there is no actual sheep. If you re-read the hint, the guy is asking for something that will help him find the sheep, not the sheep itself.

With that in mind, it's just a question of figuring out what sort of thing you would give someone else to help them find something...

thanks but who do i give it to? there's no one there that glows yellow for me to finish this last shard.

You have to FIRST convince the arsonist to change his ways by having someone teach him that what he's doing is bad (i.e., summon a police officer or similar law-abiding sort). Once you've done that, he'll ask to repent for burning down the building by offering to build a new one.

You should be able to hit the Start button, then select "Shards" from the menu and scroll through the challenges to see what you're missing.

Some challenges require that you complete another challenge first (see above, in my post about the arsonist at the Capital City Firehouse). If you reset the level, even though you retain the shard you picked up earlier, you will still have to complete the primary challenge before moving on to the next one.

Ruins of Ellipsis. I saved the botanist from the man eater plant, but the starite shard didn't pop up. Resetting didn't solve that. What was your method?

Same thing with the Pirate Ghost Ship in Alliteration Abyss

Saving the botanist from the man-eating plant isn't finished until the plant has changed to its third form (a Huge Asphodel). To do so, you need to feed the plant something that's not human. Just typing "meat" should work just fine.


For the sunken ghost ship, I think I just added the adjective "buoyant" or "floating."
