This brill beat em up got beaten down with the lack of Online co-op
The game play style is like somthing from streets of rage, you have 5 players to play as and your friends can join the battle too as you walk along roads, streets, buildings and films sets fighting your way to the one of the 7 evil ex's. Playing alone gets pretty hard as your helth drains fast, but if you have your frineds along for the ride then things get much easy and alot more fun. Saddly it does not have online game, which i dont understand, a game you buy online does not suport online co-op even though it suits online co-op lol. WTF?
You gain levels as you beat up people along with a bundle of cash, Gaining levels does not make you stronger but gives you new combos you unlock, some of these combos can be quite good, whilst others are rubbish, washed out, or some just feel same as the last. With the money you gain you can buy food from shops to heal health, increase your stats. These food does not cost alot nither do they increase your stats alot, but you gain enough money to buy enough stats increases.
With extras to unlock it makes you wanna go back and play it again, specily with a different person as each person has different combos and specile attacks.
Overall, Scott Pilgram Vs The World is a great game for XBL, Not the best game for it, but worth your money, If it had Online Co-op then maybe it would have scored and 8.5. There again i reckon alot of players could be quite heptic lol.
Never the less its a brill game, bring a friend along for the fun and battle together.
