Finally in America!
I ride a real life motorcycle (2007 YZF-R6) and this game accurately captures what a motor bike can and cannot do. If you are a 'noob' to simbike racing then play Tourist Trophy or Moto GP 08 first before even forming the thought of trying to negotiate this game. It is tough enough WITHOUT the realism settings on of which there are 12 like: Inertia, rider wieght shifting, tire wear ect. Then you have ALL of the mechanical settings not to mention you can select 'true to life' opponent skill. Oh and I am sorry my Aussie brothers but I kicked Troy Bayliss's butt at Miller MSP. Okay I know in real life I would lose, LOL.
You even have an engineer to converse with about how YOU like to race. He [BOT] will set your bike up for you. Or you can just ask him to give you the best settings for qualifying or winning the race. There is also scaleable weather and online play. The only things lacking in this game are the other 3 categories which are Super Sport (600cc), STK1000 and STK600. I think 2009 should incorporate those as ladder steps to making it to the premier WSBK class. I also beleive DLC should enter the equation as well. Because when a game comes out you dont have all of the 'special livieries' that you see hroughout the season. I also belive you should be able to create a player like in the game Tiger Woods 09 and have your own race number. It would be cool to select you leathers, boots, gloves ect. and really personalize your character with official team colors that come with that team.
