The movie turns game

User Rating: 7 | Saw X360
If your familiar with the Saw movies, you might find the new game, Saw, a pleasure to play. You'll play detective Tapp, one of the protagonists from the first Saw movie as you make your way through the game to find and bring the Jigsaw killer to prison. The game is fixed on puzzles of all kinds. Some of which are very challenging and others are easy and too repetitive. Each level ends with you trying to save someone in a challenging puzzle, even though some of them you would rather see die. There is some talented voice acting from Tobin Bell as Jigsaw. The combat is the worst part of the game. The controls are broken at times and it's tough to pull off a block. There is some bloody gameplay however, and the atmosphere fits the game fine. There are two alternate endings but you can just start the game from the last checkpoint and pick the other door for the other ending. Achievements are practically handed to you and if you don't what to play the game for the story, you can play it for the achievements. Saw is not the best game in the world but it offers something for fans of the series. 7/10
