Samurai Western is a fairly standard hack n' slash game. The graphics are not awful by any means, but nor are they at all impressive. The gameplay, while very simplistic and a bit too easy for its own good, is strangely addicting for a game where you use about 3 buttons over and over again. The sound was rather underwhelming, though the music wasn't that bad, and the swords sound pretty good. The game is not big on replay value, though. Even with the extra missions and secret characters, you can beat it easily within a few days or even hours. All things considered, however, Samurai Western is not a bad game, it's just not all that good, either.
