This game is the expansion of the former Samurai Warriors game by Koei. With 4 new characters: -Hideyoshi Hashiba: a loyal general of Nobunaga Oda, and unifier of Japan.
-Tadakatsu Honda: the loyal Tokugawa soldier.
-Ina: the warrior princess and daughter of Tadakatsu.
-Yoshimoto Imagawa: the Daimyô of the Imagawa clan who are defeated in 1560 by Nobunga Oda in Okehazama.
And some new modes: -Sumo: chose a Sumo wrestler and defeat as many men as possible.
-Gatekeeper: this is simple, kill as many man as possible.
-Duel: speaks for itself, chose a fighter and fight a duel.
-Goldrush: you’re in a vast castle and collect as many gold as possible in 5 minutes.
