Great Start to the New Season Real Score 8.3

After the epic ending to Hugh Bliss and the 1st Season.. the 2nd season has been in the works since the 1st ended.. there will be 5 episodes of the new Sam and Max.. the first episode takes some things we love about the old sam and max.. but this time introduces us to new stories and places to explore. This Time there is trouble at the North Pole and Sam and Max have to save christmas! But is Christmas worth Saving?

First Of all let me introduce you to the new characters/ new roles
You have a new item in your closet.. in the remains of hugh bliss.. your office has had some slight renevations. You are introduced the a new character who is in the office behind you.. its unknown what role he will play cause in the first game.. he does nothing. You also can finally go into Stinkys diner. its run by relative of Stinky.. who hates the job and is very annoying! Bosco no longer has a store.. everything is mech. with high tech gadgets.. Sybils store has been moved to the middle of Boscos and Stinkys, but the first episode did not give us access to this place. Also the COPS have a car repair shop. thats it i believe.. almost everything left of the office is turned into ruin!

The Story takes place when Sam and Max believe that their goldfish Mr. Spacula has turned evil, but then he is zapped, and enters a giant robot! once you defeat the robot you realize that it was a gift from none other then Santa Claus! you must go the workshop and investigate. Once you get to the north pole you realize that Santa is not his usual self.. shooting everything he sees.. and the rest plays out from there.. Sam and Max must save christmas!

The Gameplay is pretty much unchanged from the previous installments. You have point and click puzzles you have to solve. Nothing has changed as far as difficulty, but you can set a clue setting to help you if you are stuck.. max may also say something that gets you thinking about the clues..

Overall its another great Sam and Max and i can't wait for the next game comming in January!

Breakdown
Gameplay: Don't fix whats not broken, all the puzzles are just as fun!
Graphics: Same look as before.. so same score
Sound: All new voice work, i don't believe anything is rehashed as far as voices.. that is very good considering the old voices got overused a lot
Value: if you have GameTap its free, but its short like all the others.. one maybe 2 days and the game is over
Overall: funny as always, another decent submission to the sam and max world.. part 1 complete 4 more to go!
